Camp Hope (a subsidiary of Grace City Outreach) is a low-barrier emergency homeless shelter for men, women, and families experiencing homelessness in Yakima County, WA.

Casey Family Programs works directly with children and families to develop and demonstrate effective, practical solutions to safely reduce the need for foster care, improve well-being, and secure safe and lifelong families for every single child in our care. The Yakima Field Office, which opened in 1972, provides clinical case management for youth and families who need help attaining or maintaining permanency, and for young adults transitioning from foster care.
We have set a bold goal for our direct services work — to secure a safe, nurturing and permanent family for every young person in our care, whether through reunification with their birth family, kinship care or adoption.

Comprehensive Healthcare’s Yakima Center offers a broad range of behavioral health services. Providers at our Yakima Center range from therapists and case managers to counselors, substance use professionals, and more. Learn about our services here

The Dispute Resolution Center is working to reduce gang membership and intervene where possible. It offers a list of local resources for youth and is committed to providing professional mediation, facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution services to individuals and agencies.

Juvenile Rehabilitation Regional staff members provide aftercare and reentry support services to the families of youth who are releasing from a Juvenile Rehabilitation residential facility. The overarching treatment model used in the community is Functional Family Parole services, or FFP. FFP is modeled after Functional Family Therapy, an evidence-based, strengths focused family intervention.
FFP Counselors work with youth and their family to assist them with a successful reintegration back into their communities.
Due to budget reductions, JR currently provides FFP services to approximately half of the youth who are releasing from a residential facility. Learn about resources here
Next Step Housing (NSH) develops affordable, safe and healthy communities where individuals and families can improve their lives and raise their children in a clean and sober environment. Since 1991, NSH has been and remains one of the leading providers of service-enriched, permanent housing in Alcohol and Drug Free Communities (ADFC's) in Washington State.

On the Corner (OTC) is a free after-school program that provides a safe and positive environment for children in the Yakima Valley. On the Corner provides kids afterschool tutoring, exercise, and activities for groups and individuals, including STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Art and Math) centers.

At Safe Yakima Valley, we focus on prevention. We arm youth and families with tools, education, and activities to empower them to make positive choices to create opportunities for success. One way we do this is through the Safe Yakima Valley Youth Mentoring Program. We match youth ages 11-17 who have been adversely impacted by opioids with caring mentors. Learn more here

TeamChild works with youth, generally between the ages of 12-24, who come from low-income families and are involved, or at risk of involvement, in the juvenile justice system. Washington New Americans is a partnership between the State of Washington and OneAmerica, a non-profit advocacy organization dedicated to building power in immigrant and refugee communities. With the support of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) and community organizations across Washington, we provide naturalization information and assistance with N-400 and I-912 forms. We organize approximately a dozen free citizenship application workshops around Washington State every year, and our partner organizations offer assistance in their offices year-round, by appointment.

The Yakima Youth Leadership Program (YYLP) is funded by a grant from the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention and is a partnership between the City of Yakima, ESD 105 and YSD. The purpose of YYLP is to work with at-risk sixth graders enrolled in Lewis & Clark, Franklin, Washington, or Wilson Middle Schools. Once a student enrolls into the program, an Education Advocate will meet with them on a weekly basis. Through their participation in YYLP, students will learn about conflict resolution & communication, social media awareness, bullying, gang prevention, substance use prevention, and community resources.
